A lot of extreme weather garments such as jackets can be purchased with special qualities such as being waterproof.  Although this ability will not allow you to go scuba diving in your jacket, it will prevent even heavy rain from penetrating the specially treated outer layer. Water will simply ‘bead’ and pour off the surface of the garment.

A lot of people think that this behaviour lasts as long as the garment itself but unfortunately this is not the case.

If you have a favourite waterproof jacket and you find that rainwater is not beading on the surface like it used to, but is saturating the material instead, all is not lost as we can re-proof it.

Simply bring it into us where your garment will be dry cleaned before we re-apply the coating which prevents water from penetrating and your item should be as good as new.
